Dr. C. Nageswara Rao is one of the promoters of Granules India Limited. By profession he is an M.S. (Surgery & Urology). He is a leading practicing surgeon in Guntur for last four decades. Besides his own practice he has been a very active member of the medical fraternity and presently he is the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Medical Council. He was a member of All India Medical Council, Syndicate Member of Nagarjuna University and Director of Hindustan Antibiotic Limited.

Mr. C. Krishna Prasad is a technocrat and a science student of the Andhra University, Walter and associated with the Pharma Industry for the last 28 years. He started his career by setting-up a plant for Toll Manufacturing of Liquid Formulation products for Multinational companies in India.

Later he set-up Triton Laboratories Limited, one of the largest manufacturer of Paracetamol in India which was merged with Granules India Limited in the year 2001.

Mr.C.Krishna Prasad had pioneered the concept of Pharmaceutical Formulation Intermediates and had been advocating this with a fair amount of success in different parts of the world. Pharmaceutical Formulation Intermediates consists of different segments like Drum to Hopper directly compressible Granules, Pellets for Capsule filling and Micro Encapsulated API’s for soft chew tablets.

Mr.Kurian, Chairman of Association of Mutual Funds in India. He has a career in financial services area spread over more than four decades. Starting as Research Officer in Reserve Bank of India, he grew up to the rank of Adviser - Economics Department. During the period 1975-1993, he was with Unit Trust of India holding position of Director-Investments, Director-Planning and Development and as Executive Trustee (equivalent to Managing Director) from 1987 to 1993.

After retirement from Unit Trust of India, he joined the Apple Mutual Fund as Adviser from 1993 to 1998 and since 1998, he is the Executive Chairman of Association of Mutual Funds in India. He is on the Board of National Stock Exchange, Executive Committee of NSDL and several other Committees associated with Mutual Funds and Capital Market.

Mr. L.S.Sarma, is a retired bank executive. He was General Manager – Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI), Director of ECGC and Dena Bank. He worked for International Trade Centre, Zeniva, ITC (Unctad/Gatt) as an Export Credit Consultant. He has held prestigious positions and gained expertise in the filed of banking and financial management. He is on the Board of a few Companies including Hexaware Technologies Limited.

Mr. C.Parthasarathy, aged 53 years is one of the founders of Karvy He is the fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds graduate degrees in Science and Law.

As the Chairman of the group, he has been responsible for building Karvy as one of India’s truly integrated financial services organizations. He oversees the group’s operations and is responsible for the vision, business direction and technology value addition to the overall business. Karvy employees over 10,500 personnel and has a total net work of 583 office in 391 cities/towns spread across the country providing complete range of services.

Dr. Krishna Murthy Ella pursued his early education in India and acquired his postgraduate Degree in Agricultural Sciences with Distinction and Gold Medals. After working with Sandoz (I) Ltd and Bayer, he moved to the USA for higher studies on Rotary Foundation Scholarship.

Dr. Ella was awarded his Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Molecular Biology. He received the National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Health, Bethesda, Maryland and became a part of the Research faculty at the Medical University of Sourth Carolina – Charleston.

Dr. Ella is the first recipient of the Best Entrepreneur of the year, 2003. He founded and established Bharat Biotech International Limited in 1996 along with his wife Suchitra Ella. The company today, is on the forefront of Indian Biotechnology engaged in R&D, manufacturing and marketing of vaccines and biotherapeutics.

Mr. Akinepally Arun Rao is a qualified Chemical Engineer from the University of Madras with a Post graduate degree Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, USA. He is the Executive Director of Akin Laboratories Pvt Ltd., a Formulation manufacturing Company.

Mr. Arun Rao is on the Board of ESPI Industries and Chemicals Pvt Ltd, a leading manufacturer of antacids in India.

Mr. Arun Rao is a member of the Central Executive Council of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association. He was the Vice President and currently, a member of the Executive Committee of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (Andhra Pradesh Branch). He is also a member of Executive Committee of Organization of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Hyderabad.

Mr. Harsha Chigurupati has been with Granules India since June 2005. Mr. Chigurupati initially worked in the U.S. office as an account manager; he implemented a CRM system and segmented the Company’s customer list. In 2006, he joined the head office in a managerial role. In his most recently capacity, he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Chigurupati was instrumental in Granules India’s vertically-integrated business strategy. During his tenure, Granules India gained nearly 100 customers, including several multi-national companies that constitute a large portion of Granules India’s sales.

Mr. Chigurupati has a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Boston University.
